A Rare Case of a Dermoid Cyst in the Right Temporal Region of the Head: A Case Report and Literature Review

Background: Dermoid cyst is a tumour mass that often encountered in daily clinical practice. Histological examination showed layer of keratinized squamous epithelium. cysts the craniofacial region comprise about 7 percent all dermoids. This case report will review 21-year-old patient with right temporal dermoid cyst.Case report: A man came to emergency department Bendan Hospital, complaining lump on side his head, had been there since was child, then it grew. Non-contrast CT scan head showing impression lipoma scalp occipital region. When underwent excision and histopathological tissue performed, result cyst.Discussion: known as benign congenital grows early. Research prefers use direct approach patient, given proper scar management part follow-up Conclusion: have until recently considered lesion, but not them can be diagnosed at birth.
